Why did Insta-Stop cancel my fade?
Insta-Stop fires a stop input before shooting off the dribble, and that stop can kill a fade. Turn it Off, use Left-Trigger mode, or hold the stick through the animation.
Insta-Stop fires a stop input before shooting off the dribble. When you shoot a fade, that stop input can cancel the fade animation.
Three fixes. Turn Insta-Stop Off when you are running fades. Or set it to Left-Trigger mode so it only fires while L2/LT is held. Or hold the left stick in the fade direction through the whole animation.
