In-game settings and tuning questions

Two settings are required. Shot Timing: Shots and Layups — with anything else the script cannot time shots. Shot Meter: Off — a visible meter narrows the green window.

The rest are recommended: Shot Feedback All Shots, Visual Cue Jump or Set Point, Pro Stick set to Shots and Dribbles if you use the dribble pages or Shots Only if you do not, and controller deadzones around 5% on both sticks.

Timing and meter are the number-one reason people think auto-green is not working. Check them before touching any value.

Yes. Set Shot Meter: Off. With the meter on, the green window is narrower, so the same value that greens with the meter off will miss more often with it on.

Because offline MyCourt timing is not the same as online timing. A value that greens offline can read early or late in an online game.

Tune in online MyCourt, not offline. yew's advice is to validate offsets in MyCourt and then in Rec after each patch, since both can move.

Four steps. Re-run the Generator on yew.gg so your settings are compiled into the new build. Load the new `.gpc` through Zen Studio into your slot. Validate your timings in online MyCourt. Then confirm them in Rec.

Updates ship weekly through the 2K27 cycle, so this is a routine you will repeat. If a value has drifted, apply the early/late rule and move in 5 ms steps.

Fast, straight releases give the widest green windows. yew's recommended bases are Oscar Robertson, Steph Curry and Damian Lillard, with releases Oscar/Oscar or Curry/Curry, release speed at max, and a 50/50 blend if you mix releases.

Avoid slow bases like Kobe and MJ, exaggerated wind-ups and hitchy animations. On the build side, prioritise shooting attributes — a 90+ three — over dunk packages.

If you brick with sensible values, the jumpshot is almost always the problem.

Set both stick deadzones to roughly 5%. If your controller drifts, raise the deadzone until it stops.

The standstill Auto-Green needs the left stick inside the centre when you click R3, so a drifting stick is worth fixing before you tune values.

It depends on whether you use the D-pad dribble pages. If any of Dribble Up/Down/Left/Right is assigned a combo, set Pro Stick to Shots and Dribbles. If all four are Off, Shots Only is fine.

Either way, keep Shot Timing on Shots and Layups and the Shot Meter Off — those two are the required settings.

If your values are sensible and you still brick, the jumpshot is almost always the problem. Slow bases, exaggerated wind-ups and hitchy animations shrink the window no matter what the value is.

Then check the two required settings — Shot Timing: Shots and Layups, Shot Meter: Off — and make sure you tuned in online MyCourt, not offline.

After a patch, re-run the Generator and re-validate; a stale build can look like a bad value.
